Originally created in response to a college brief, An Ocean Full of Plastic was created as a way to bring awareness to the environmental issue of plastic pollution in the ocean which would reach a young audience. After first creating and ordering a physical copy, this then lead to the book being published through Amazon Kindle Direst Publishing where it is available to order worldwide.
The illustration were all painted using watercolours as I felt that this was able to capture the bright animals and plants whilst also mimicking the water movement. I felt this spoke more to children as the natural bright colours were appealing but not too stimulating.
