Skull Cove Coffee Co. is a brand identity concept built around the idea that great coffee is its own kind of rebellion. The brief called for something bold, unapologetic, and memorable, a brand that doesn't take itself too seriously but takes craft seriously.

The concept

The pirate motif isn't just aesthetic — it's a point of view. Coffee culture can feel overly precious; Skull Cove Coffee Co. pushes back on that.

Logo design

The mark combines a stylised skull with crossed swords, nods directly to the product while reinforcing the brand's playful edge. It works at any scale — from a favicon to a full cup wrap — and holds up in a single colour on both black and white grounds.

Packaging

The cup mockups demonstrate the mark in its natural habitat. Black kraft paper, white ink, no noise. It showcases how this logo takes centre stage and is instantly recognisable.

Colour & typography

Black, white, and nothing else. The restraint is intentional — it forces the logomark to do all the work, and it does.
